Internet access via WLAN wireless network is free of charge

All holiday flats and bungalows on the Finca La Gaviota and all appartments of Alcala are provided with WLAN to have internet access during your stay. Internet access is bookeable for only 1 Euro per Day of stay.

Please talk to us at your arrival if you wish to access the internet and we will provide you the login details for the WPA secured WLAN network.

For the technically interested visitors, here are some facts about our wireless network in Alcala:

ADSL access via Telefonica is located on the base floor. Due to the construction in Tenerife optimum wireless coverage of all floors would be with only a wireless hotspot is not possible. Therefore, we use a 4 MESH routers to an optimal signal quality to ensure in all floors.

At the Finca La Gaviota we work with a wireless antenna, the surface coverage compared to a large area of the whole area ensures.
